Mrs. Jen Newendyke

Mrs. Jen Newendyke started her tenure as the Applied Technology Center director for the Rock Hill School District the summer of 2023. Professionally she has been an assistant regional superintendent, career and technical education (CTE) system director, career advisor, instructional coach, and middle school teacher. She holds her superintendent license, a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Administration & Supervision, a M.S. Ed in Middle Level Education, and a B.S. in Geography. Mrs. Newendyke believes whole heartedly in the opportunities CTE provides to all students is happy to be at the ATC! Personally, Mrs. Newendyke is busy raising two boys with her husband on their hobby farm. They raise bantam modern game and old english game birds to show as part of the American Poultry Association and 4H.

Mr. stephen truesdale

I am excited to be part of the ATC team! I have spent the past 20 years in education, working at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Aerospace Studies from Clemson University, as well as a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Furman University.

I taught for several years before moving into school administration, where I have served for the past 13 years. My previous roles include Teacher, Assistant Principal, Assistant Director, and Principal. I am now thrilled to continue my journey in education at the Applied Technology Center as the Assistant Director and look forward to supporting our students, staff, and community.

I have two daughters, ages 1 and 13, and am married to my wife, Theresa. I am an avid mountain biker and a fan of Clemson football!
